As humanity moves out across our solar system and begins its journey to the stars, we all have our parts to play. It should be possible for, not just companies like ours, but for every single individual to contribute. TCT Aerospace believe that science should not be bound by governments, borders, corporations, or any other form of constraint. All science and its discoveries should be open to everyone, and allowed to benefit all humanity.
Our ecological impact:
We believe that the space industry should not on limit the impact on the ecology of the Earth from the effects of man's journey into space, but also that we have a duty to limit our ecological impact on the rest of the solar system. Our Trail Blazer spacecraft has been designed to have the lowest carbon footprint possible from mission to mission. TCT Aerospace will reduce the cost of space exploration and provide missions with the lowest possible ecological impact. Our steps towards reducing our impact include:
An 80% reusable spacecraft (Trail Blazer)
Our spacecraft and all of our customers are limited to using non-toxic propellant with a preference towards bio-fuel
The launching of our "sphere" for each mission only requires a small-lift launch vehicle, reducing propellant use
As we are using small-lift launch vehicles, we can launch from small minimalistic-style spaceports which in turn have a much smaller ecological impact on the environment
Our MoonPIE mission's initial landing site is an area of the Moon (Apollo 12 landing site) that has already been visited
We are using carbon fibre to reduce the mass of our craft in order to use less propellant
When on the lunar surface, we have a hopping ability to jump from location to location. This effectively means that in one mission we can carry out the objectives and activities that other crafts or projectes would have to do over multiple missions.
Due to our reusability, only 20% of our hardware is being launched each mission, therefore pre-flight transport usage is decreased, compared to larger missions
